We provide Supported Living Accommodation for Young People of a mixed gender aged 16 years - 25yrs. For many young adults, independent living can be a significant concern or daunting transition to them following a move from their family home, foster care, county or country altogether.
Some young people may find themselves far away from home with little support and no one to offer them support or keep them safe, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and harm.
Hence the right home environment and support is key in keeping them safe and supporting them to build their self-esteem, self-confidence and encouraging them to learn and develop the skills and knowledge they will need in order to move forward in their lives.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
We are committed to providing the highest standards and quality of support and residence. We provide a safe home environment and aim to match a young person's needs and lifestyle with a suitable support worker to provide a familiar face either daily or a couple of times a week to suit their needs and to enable them to feel secure in the fact that their home is really their “haven” where they can be themselves without feeling prejudged or discriminated against.
Our support staff will provide much-needed companionship, social support and encouragement to uphold their mental and emotional wellbeing.
Our service will cater to their cultural, religious, language, gender, sexuality, disability, age and communication needs. We will respect the human rights of our young people and support them to make informed choices which we hope will ultimately empower them to become whoever they aspire to be and more.
We will offer holistic support to meet our young person’s diverse needs to allow them to reach their full potential.
We are committed to the development of positive lifestyles for our young people to allow them to be the best version of themselves and to lead a full life within their communities. We are proud of the level of quality and attention to young people's needs that our support staff provides and will continually invest in staff development and training to ensure they maintain competencies and have the confidence to deliver services to our young people.
Our managers have substantial experience in supporting people with various support needs.
Age Range - This service is intended for young people aged 16 years old and over.
